NextStag IAX Softphone is designed on industry standard IAX protocol to make it compatible to almost all providers supporting IAX trunking. It supports a range of codecs: g711, g723, g729, Libs, and GSM. IAX protocol has the added benefit of carrying both signalling and media on the same port. It also traverses firewalls and NAT efficiently.
